ABOUT ME

just kidding.

I'm John Harmon Cooper! But please, call me John.

I was born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina, where I grew up singing in church, performing at local theatres, and spending way too much time at school. (Seriously. A janitor once called me out for it.)

The long hours paid off though. I matriculated to and graduated from Yale University where I received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics! I also studied acting, performed in musicals, sang in the Yale Glee Club (our choir), and participated in the Yale Journalism Scholar program.

I started my career at CBS News, producing nearly 200 segments and assisting on dozens more.

I am also an actor and singer, performing on stages from sea to shining sea. (Technically, I've only made from the East Coast to the Rockies, but alas...the reference is pretty, so it stays ☺)
